SAILING AT PEGASUS WEDNESDAY 12 MARCH
I am looking forward to a fantastic day of fun in the sun!! (hopefully) It is important that children are well prepared for a full day out in the weather and the water. We WILL be getting wet. Children must wear clothing and footwear that is appropriate for in the water. Thermal tops are recommended especially if it is a cooler day. Pack morning tea, lunch and lots of water too as children get very thirsty!! A towel and change of clothes and dry shoes, hat jacket and sunscreen are important also.
Parents are welcome to join us however you need to make your own way out to Pegasus as we have limited room on the bus. Look back in a few days for photos of the fun!!!!

ATHLETICS DAY TUESDAY 11 MARCH
A reminder that it is athletics day tomorrow. Children need to have suitable clothing and dress in their Whanau group colours. A warm jacket, sunhat, sunblock, extra lunch and drink bottle are also advised.
The PTA are running a Cafe tomorrow in Room 5 during the school athletics. There will be tea/coffee, cold drinks, baking, savories and more, plus a sausage sizzle at lunch time so bring along some money and purchase something yummy while enjoying all of the events.
Parents come along and support your children if possible, it should be a great day. Unfortunately I can't be here as I have a sporting commitment with my daughter and I am disappointed to be missing the fun, however I wish everyone the best luck in their events and encourage you all to do your personal best and respect all other competitors. Have a great day!!!

Crying Wind
A storm struck Christchurch. The leaves are forming tornadoes making the leaves scatter everywhere. The road is a rising river making it hard for people to drive through. The puddles are like rock pools. Trees are bowing down to mother earth. The wind sounds like a whistling ghost and rain shoots down like bullets.

Storm Attack
Black booming clouds come rolling towards us. As soon as the the big angry clouds filled the sky all I could hear was a drumming rhythm on the roof. The wind started to intensify and the trees started to bow down to mother earth. The gutters were like over flowing rivers with leaves swimming along like little baby fish.
